Hello!
Recently I have made the decision to become a celebrant after over 40 years in nursing - 20 of those in palliative care, where I have listened to lots of stories of people’s lives and have ensured that I have treated everyone as an individual in a holistic way. That is no different in the way that I treat you.
My Story
A little bit about me apart from my nursing which has equipped me with all the relevant skills in being an independent celebrant.
I’ve been married for over 35 years and a fun fact..my maiden name was White! I am a proper water baby - I love being in water whether that’s swimming, dipping in cold water, being by the sea, river or lake, chilling in a hot tub or just relaxing in the bath-preferably with a glass of wine and a good book! My favourite thing to do is to spend time with my family and friends - I’m so lucky with the special people in my life. However, I also love to sneak away with my husband in our tourer caravan!
I was born and live in Chester and cover Chester and the surrounding areas including the Cheshire, Wirral, North Wales.
My Business
Flowers hold an important place in rituals and cultural traditions. Their presence brings a sense of calm and positivity, which is the feeling I hope to bring to you. Poppies, my favourite flower, may appear delicate, yet they shine with vibrant beauty. Symbolising hope and remembrance, the poppy is a perfect reflection of my role as your celebrant.
My name, Samantha, meaning 'flower' or 'blossom,' also carries the meaning 'one who listens well.' Combined with the calming and wise energy of sage green, I will draw from my life experiences to shape your story in a way that truly reflects you.
